Fully restored Austin Healey Mark 3.
This BJ8 has been meticulously restored and is in superb condition. The chassis and body have been treated and are rust-free. During the restoration, the two rear fenders were replaced with aluminum ones. The new paint is true to the original, as confirmed by the “British Motor Heritage” certificate that comes with the vehicle.
The interior is brand new and features black faux leather, just like the original. It also comes with a new mohair soft top and a soft top cover. The new wood dashboard, gearshift knob, and new Moto-lita steering wheel give it a very elegant look. You’ll also find a kill switch on the center console and a set of OMP seat belts to enhance the “rally” look and your safety. The steering column has been modified and equipped with power steering from EZ Electric. In addition to the aluminum rear fenders, the vehicle has been fitted with an aluminum fuel tank located in the trunk under the spare tire. Spare tire, new tires, and a tool kit are included.
As for the exterior, the Healey has been given a rally-style look and is fitted with center-lock spoke wheels and Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The chrome trim is either new or in excellent condition. The grille is an aluminum rally-style grille, beneath which two additional headlights have been installed. The 2912cc engine has also undergone a few modifications, the most significant being the replacement of the cylinder head with an aluminum one to reduce weight and improve performance. This cylinder head is fitted with three Weber 45DCOE carburetors. The entire suspension is new (including the leaf springs) and has been upgraded with adjustable Spax shocks. A stainless steel exhaust system completes the car’s look. The Austin Healey featured here is therefore the perfect choice for enthusiasts of classic British A-class cars who want to enjoy both leisurely drives and rallying.
